CCM Volunteers
CCM student visits once/week to tutor the children of IHN. Do you have a talent you can share? IHNGC opened its doors in October 1991, and will be celebrating 20 years of service in 2011! This year's Annual Meeting and Volunteer Recognition Night will focus on this exciting milestone on Thursday,April 7, 2011 at Isaac Wise Temple.

Day CenterThe Day Center is the families’ “home base” for taking care of personal needs and working with our Shelter Case Manager. Together, they create a case plan to find stable housing and sometimes employment. The case plan increases their likelihood of successful housing retention because it includes:
Childcare - Thrive & GrowHomeless Children Thrive and Grow – In collaboration with the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, this program addresses the needs of children under 13 years old (over 200 children a year). The children are assessed for developmental delays, on-going medical issues, lead exposure, anemia and immunization delay; and then therapy is initiated or a referral for services is provided. ↑ Return to Top Transportation
The Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Cincinnati Bus transports the families to congregations every evening and returns them to the Day Center in the morning after breakfast. During the day we provide Van Service to take guests to and from appointments critical to their search for housing and other needs such as health care and job related services. ↑ Return to Top Going Home, Staying HomeHousing Retention - This program, started in 2006, has its own Case Manager and trained mentors who work with families after they leave Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Cincinnati so they do not become homeless again. This involves insuring the families are connected with the appropriate resources and support services.↑ Return to Top
