Ten Thousand VillagesYour holiday gift giving will not only be easy and fun when you shop among the beautiful handicrafts from around the world at Ten Thousand Villages each December on behalf of IHN, but a profit of the sales will go toward Interfaith Hospitality Network! Located at 2011 Madison Road in O’Bryonville, the store is a non-profit organization that provides fair income to Third World craftspeople by selling their high-quality wares and telling their stories. Delicious drinks and snacks will be there, too, for the tasting while you shop. Park in the ample lot across the street and prepare to spend an afternoon or just a couple hours supporting two wonderful causes – fair market wages and Interfaith Hospitality Network! The Annual Souper BowlThe Annual Souper Bowl of Caring is a nationwide fundraising event held the day of the Super Bowl. Many local Interfaith Hospitality Network congregations have traditionally taken up a collection benefiting Interfaith Hospitality Network as part of the Souper Bowl of Caring. We are looking to exceed last year’s proceeds because this is a fundraiser for services provided by Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Cincinnati as well as for hosting expenses of your congregation. For ideas on planning your congregation’s Souper Bowl of Caring event, visit the organization’s website at www.souperbowl.org. Annual Pedal Paddle Event This family fun event is set around riding bikes, paddling canoes, a picnic and usually live music. There is always a good turn out and all the funds benefit the shelter in addition to raising awareness about Interfaith Hospitality Network. ↑ Return to Top
